About the Maker: As pioneers of fair trade, Ten Thousand Villages brings conscious shoppers purposeful handmade goods for home and life. Their maker-to-market movement puts people and planet first, believing that what we wear, what we place in our homes, or give as gifts should be ethically and sustainably made. They value the unique nature of things that have been crafted by hand and invest in the lives of the makers behind those things. Long-term partnerships with women and marginalized communities in developing countries help break the cycle of poverty and ignite social change so that together we thrive.
